Ever wondered who watches online shows, or wanted to meet the people who make them? Well, you can satisfy your curiosity Thursday July 31 at the NewTeeVee Pier Screening!

Show creators, online video afficionados and industry folks will be gathering to view and discuss a special topic: pilots. As BECA people know well, pilot episodes have to work even harder than regular episodes — and in the world of short-format online video, they have to do it fast.

I'll be one of the judges for the evening, along with Revision3's Martin Sargent and YouTube content partnerships manager George Strompolous (click here to read more about us). So come by, say hi, and enjoy a fine batch of online pilots!

And if you're interested in submitting work, you can still do that! The deadline is July 24.
