Congratulations Marty Gonzales: Silver Circle Inductee
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences inducted Marty Gonzales to the Silver Circle on October 23, 2010.
The Silver Circle honors individuals who have made a significant contribution to Northern California Television during their 25 year career.
Before moving up the markets, Marty's career in broadcasting began in Chico and Sacramento. Marty came to San Francisco and joined the KGO team before becoming a member of the KRON family, where Marty is currently a weekend Anchor. In addition to a 25 year career in broadcasting, Marty has spent the past 15 years teaching and encouraging future journalists in the BECA Department at SF State.
On behalf of the students, staff & faculty in the BECA Department, congratulations on being inducted to the Silver Circle Marty!
