Video Production in Haiti - Summer 2011

Are you interested in traveling to Haiti in the summer of 2011 for a video production project? Have you taken - or do you plan to take in the spring - BECA 546 (EFP I) or its equivalent? Do you wish to use your media skills to promote social justice?

If the answer is yes - and you want to find out more, come to an organizational meeting to learn more about BECA 580 - Media and Community Service, a class offered as a two-course sequence in the spring and summer of 2011. In the second course, offered in June, students will travel to Haiti to produce a video for a non-governmental organization (NGO), working in Haiti.

There will be two, identical meetings, scheduled to accommodate different schedules. Both will be held in CA 116 - one on Wednesday, December 1st at 5:00 PM, and the other on Thursday, December 2nd, at noon.
