After a long trip, beginning in Antigua at 6:30 AM we arrived at SFO last night, tired but intact. From Antigua, we rode to the airport in rush-hour traffic. A trip that would normally take an hour or less took two-and-a-half hours. Enroute, as I chatted with our driver, I learned that he earns $7.00/day, regardless of the number of hours he works. That was a stern reality check before returning to the U.S. consumer culture!

We flew through Houston, and felt every one of the 95 degrees of heat and humidity, despite the airport air conditioning. After going through customs, some of us satisfied our U.S. food cravings while waiting for the delayed plane. At SFO, we landed and picked up our baggage uneventfully.

Today we all met again at the BECA Cage, where we turned in the equipment that we were using in Guatemala. It's all back and safe - as are we. Now the post production begins in earnest. It's a big job, but we're looking forward to delivering the best possible product for Transitions. Don't miss the screening on September 22nd!
