Monday, Monday

The print shop at Transitions was really the first part of the organization to get going. Various people who have passed through Transitions have worked at the print shop, others have lived behind it, and it now continues as a way to help support the work of Transitions by bringing in income and serving as another training ground and business office. We have worked a lot with Brenda, who has arranged our transportation and done other things for us, so we decided to interview her. Also, she has been with Transitions for a long time, so she knows a lot of the history. We set her up in a courtyard within the print shop. In the photo above, you see Brenda, Ari Sandoval, Erin Walter and Eric Cuadra. Interviewer Lydia Bell is hidden behind the cameras.

The rest of the day we will spend on B-roll, and doing translations and transcriptions. It's a tedious job, but it's all part of the process.
